Mukesh Khanna has revealed that contracts have been signed for the film on ‘Shaktimaan’. He said this film is a high quality film and its budget is 200-300 crore.
Last year a grand announcement was made about a film being made on India’s popular superhero ‘Shaktimaan’. Buzz was that Ranveer Singh would be playing the lead role in the movie, but there was no confirmation about the same after that. Now in a latest video by Mukesh Khanna he has opened up about the ‘Shaktimaan’ movie, which will be based on his popular superhero show. Mukesh Khanna, who played the role of Shaktimaan, still enjoys a huge popularity and his fans are demanding to return with the show. Recently, on his YouTube channel, he said “Contracts have been signed regarding the film. This is a film of very high quality. This movie will be made with a budget of Rs 200–300 crore. The film will be made by Sony Pictures, which made Spider-Man, though it will be a little delayed.” He further said that this is not a small film. In such a situation, the project will take time to be completed. A lot of things are happening in this film.
Promising it to be a grand entertainer, Mukesh Khanna further stated, “I recently told someone that this is not a small film, it is a massive film and that it takes time. A lot of things are happening, but I am not allowed to talk. A lot of things are happening, but I am not allowed to talk. The big question is, will I be Shaktimaan? Who will play it? I can’t reveal it. But it is a commercial film, so it involves a lot of commercial talks. But main rahuga, mere bagair toh Shaktimaan nahi ban sakti ye sabko pata hai (I will be in the film, Shaktimaan can*t be made without me, everyone knows).”
“What I can say is I am not supposed to do any appearance in Shaktimaan*s get-up now. I have to stop because they don*t want any comparison. But the film is coming, very soon there will be a final announcement, where you will know who will be in it, who will direct it. It is being made on an international level, as it deserves to be,” he added.
