Shahid Kapoor who kickstarted his 2023 by debuting into OTT streams with ‘Farzi’ has more projects lined up making him a busy bee this year. Although he only did Jersey last year which ran average in theatres got himself scheduled with continuous films this year making his fans anticipate.
Shahid has aced in top form in his debut OTT show ‘Farzi’ making it a refreshingly intense scamster saga for the audience to behold. He has another upcoming action thriller release titled ‘Bloody Daddy’ directed by Ali Abbas Zafar in June. He also wrapped his upcoming untitled movie starring female lead Kriti Sanon in mid-April. Their first look hinting at a romantic subtitled “an impossible love story” made the audience eager about the project directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah under Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films backed up by Jio Cinemas.
Busying himself with a list of movies, the actor has yet another untitled action comedy project directed by Anees Bazmee. As per sources, Aneez has approached Shahid following his blockbuster ‘Bhool Bhulaiyya 2’ keeping his own written narrative and not any remake. It’s going to be a big-budget action comedy produced by Dil Raju of Tollywood. The film is going to be on roll from July, with most of the shooting placed in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Seems like Shahid has altered to comedy after his serious roles in Jersey and his OTT Farzi. Netizens are happy with his continual projects and expect him to have a sequel of success this year.
