The filmmakers have dedicated this movie to all the unsung warriors of India who stand vigilant on the border every single day through freezing cold and burning hot weather just so we can breathe peacefully in the comfort of our homes.
The song has beautifully portrays the life of a solider, it reminds us that a soldier, like other citizens, has a life, has a family, falls in love and has a heart of gold, all of which he leaves behind to be the shield his country. Most of the video is focusing on Sai and Swathi’s married life and how they nurture and love each other in an arranged marriage setting. The soft, loving side of a soldier is gracefully evident that can make stones melt. But, the hardest part about marrying a soldier is that we they have to say goodbye too many times and for too long, not knowing if they’ll see their husbands every again.
While we’re mainstream busy looking at what struggles an army officer goes through, we forget that it’s also a sacrifice for their family and loved ones to stay away for several months. The song is from the wife’s perspective and that makes it unique and special.
Satya is a tribute to heroes who weren’t spoken about but deserved equal credit in India’s safeguard role. Satya revolves around Operation Rakshak that took place in Kupwara, Kashmir where 753 Indian army personnel died during Operation Rakshak between 2007 and 2015. Satya magnifies on the story of one such soldier out of the hundreds.
