Bollywood Star Shah Rukh Khan
Actress Sanya Malhotra pauses when she examines what might be shared publicly from the vast collection of her experiences with the superstar. Shah Rukh Khan is her cinematic idol. The actor continues, “He told me a lot of things during Jawan that were so personal to me that I feel like I should hold onto them for the rest of my life.”
Shah Rukh Khan is the star of Sanya’s most recent film, Jawan, which is now doing well. The Atlee-directed movie is on track to become the all-time highest-grossing Hindi movie.
Beyond the glitz of box office success, Sanya tells IndianExpress.com that watching Shah Rukh perform up close and learning a lot from Jawan have changed her career. The actor acknowledges that it should because “I was getting tips from Shah Rukh sir himself.”
Dimaag zyada lagati hai tu, he said to me. “You think a lot, try listening to your heart,” the proverb says. This is not the first time someone has told me this because I tend to overthink things. Sanya claims that she received similar guidance from the director Anurag Basu when she collaborated with him on the film Ludo.
“I believe Shah Rukh sir also felt that and informed me. He advised me to follow my heart rather than my mind after we had finished filming a scene. I was affected by that information, and it altered me.
When Sanya arrived on the Sam Bahadur sets of Meghna Gulzar’s film, she noticed the transformation almost immediately. Vicky Kaushal and Fatima Sana Shaikh are the stars of the movie about Sam Manekshaw, the first field marshal of India.
