Popular Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has been showing interest in doing South biggies lately. The actor who is busy with his upcoming movie ‘Salaar’ starring Prabhas is also playing a crucial role in Kollywood star Vijay’s much-anticipated upcoming gangster drama, ‘Leo’. Touted to be a much-awaited part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe, Sanjay had already participated in the Kashmir and Chennai shooting schedules of the film with Vijay. Now, an interesting update about Sanjay’s role in the movie is doing rounds on the internet.
According to the latest buzz, Sanjay Dutt will be playing Vijay’s father in the flick. It seems like the father and son will be seen as gangsters in this Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directorial. On an interesting note, Sanjay Dutt is receiving a whopping amount of Rs 10 crores as remuneration for this film. Also, Vijay will be seen as a chocolate factory owner in the film which runs with a Kashmir backdrop. Trisha and action hero Arjun are also playing key roles in the movie. ‘Leo’ is slated to hit the theatres on October 19 this year. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring music for the film.
