In a recent conversation, a fan asked the director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, about the personality of his female characters and whether the controversies surrounding ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Kabir Singh led him to change Rashmika’s characters’ personalities. The filmmaker replied, “How Preeti was in ‘Kabir Singh’ influenced the entire storyline. Also haan controversies hui thi, theek hai. But kuch farak nahi pada, asar nahi hua. (The controversies happened; that’s okay. But it didn’t make any difference; it didn’t have any impact.)”
Animal marks Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s third action film, which T-Series and Cine1 Studios bankroll. The film’s trailer and song received a mixed response from critics and audiences, and it is scheduled to be released on December 1, 2023.
