Samantha Ruth Prabhu is far from films for many days since her diagnosis with myositis. However, now she is back to Shaakuntalam promotions. Also, the actress is shooting for Citadel with Varun Dhawan.
The web series is being created by the Russo brothers’ AGBO for Prime Video. Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are directing the web series. She worked with Raj and DK in The Family Man season 2 and has developed a good rapport with the directors.
The latest buzz is that Samantha bought a three-bedroom apartment in Mumbai for Rs 15 crore. It is heard that the actress bought this as she will be spending a lot of time there for shoots. It was also said that Samantha wanted to act in more Hindi films and had even signed a film with Akshay Kumar, but there was no confirmation of this. It is also heard that recent Instagram pics of Samantha are posted from her new apartment.
Meanwhile, Samantha’s upcoming film Shaakuntalam was supposed to release on February 17, but unfortunately, the film got delayed with an uncertain release date and unforeseen reasons.
