S.S Rajamouli’s RRR bags six National Awards

S.S Rajamoulis’ RRR won six  Awards at the prestigious 69 th National Film Awards in six categories, including Best Popular Film, Providing Wholesome Entertainment and Best Music Direction.

With RRR  S.S., Rajamouli took Indian Cinema to the world stage and Hollywood by winning a prestigious Academy Award. The movie is unstoppable even after a year after its release. The movie won six national awards in different categories such as Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, and Best Male Playback Singer for Kaala Bhairava (“Komuram Bheemudo”).

The film also won the national award in the category of Best Choreography for Prem Rakshit, Best Music Direction-Background Score for M.M. Keeravani, Best Special Effects for V.Srinivas, Best Stunt Choreography  for King Soloman ,who were also nominated for Academy Awards.

This is the first in the history of Tollywood Film Industry that a Telugu film has won multiple national awards, and the credit goes to director S.S Rajamouli for putting Tollywood Film Industry on international radar. His contribution to the Telugu film industry is commendable. H e took the filmmaking to the finest level one can achieve.
