Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani Promotions Highlights:
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as the lead pair. The film marks the come-back of Karan Johar as a director. The film pays ode to many classic Dharma romantic family dramas and Ranveer and Alia are being presented as the new-age SRK and Kajol.
The movie is releasing on 28th July and the promotions are in full swing! The first spot on the promotional tour was Baroda. Alia, staying true to her character Rani, donned a pink and lime green saree and sleeveless blouse and simple long earrings while Ranveer wore an all-black track pant- bomber jacket-look.
The two shared a fun moment on stage when Ranveer Singh teasingly imitated Alia’s iconic Ghangubhai ‘namaste’ move. Alia quickly said “stop it” and laughed, which Raveer then copied.
The two then headed to New Delhi to continue promotions and unveil the third song from the movie. The movie’s first two songs have received lots of love and the third single , Ve Kamleya, dropped yesterday at the event along with further promoting the film.
Before the song was released, Ranveer showed off his singing skills by singing 2 lines from the song, “Ve Kamleya” and Alia showed she still had some Gully Boy skills by rapping a verse from the song and Ranveer joined in. Alia wore a beautiful blue and dusty nude two-toned saree while Rocky aha Ranveer wore a sharp black suit, looking as dapper as ever.
Another funny moment from the song launch event was when a fan presented some Jhumkhas to Alia on theme with the second single from the movie “What Jhumka.” Ranveer asked the fan what he wanted in return, to which the fan replied ” A hug.” In a witty manner replied “Tu hug Alia to de de, jhumke mujhe de de. Teri bhabhi bohot khush ho jayegi,” and claimed the jhumkas for his wife Deepika Padukone.

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani is a romantic family drama that stars Ranveer, Alia and Preity Zinta, Dharmendra. Jaya Bhachchan and Ananya Panday. The film is the first to be directed by Karan Johar after his 7 year hiatus. The film is a grand entertainer showing beautiful love, intense family emotion, a good amount of humor, large celebrations and several costume changes. The film is to be released on July 28th 2023.
