Robert Downey Jr , who recently received an Oscar for his supporting part in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, has shown an interest in reprising his role as Iron Man.

Actor Robert Downey Jr. is open to returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In an interview with Esquire, the actor stated that he would be happy to play Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, in future films if the Marvel gods wanted him to.

Robert noted that the last time he saw the MCU actors was in Atlanta while filming the Russo Brothers’ 2018 superhero ensemble Avengers: Infinity War.

Despite their hectic shooting schedules, they connected over a celebration supper. “It was one of the last times you could get everybody from the franchises together, and I remember that being a special night,” Roberts said.
