Bollywood actress Richa Chadha marked herself as one of the versatile actresses. The actress was last seen in Fukrey 3, earning immense appreciation for her portrayal as Bholi Punjaban in the Fukrey series.
Richa Chadha in her recent interview, recalled how she was offered different roles and had to reject most of them on a moral basis. Richa shared that she was offered the role of Hrithik Roshan’s mother when she was only 21 years old, and the actor was older than her.
Richa said she felt angry at the casting director and very upset, given that she was only 21 years old at that time. However, she later learned that the casting director had been told that she would play older women well, and he gave her that role without much consideration.
Richa emphasized on how she thought it was unfair to artists who are older and have limited opportunities already and believed that it is wrong to do the role on moral grounds and later, the casting director never called her as well. However, she established herself with memorable roles in Gangs Of Wasseypur, Masaan, and Love Sonia.
