Simhadri was the blockbuster Telugu film in 2003. The film was highly welcomed by both critics and audiences. The film marks the second collaboration of Rajamouli and Jr NTR. The duo worked for blockbuster films like Student No 1, Yamadonga and RRR.
Now as the Jr NTR is turning one year old on May 20, Simhadri film is all set for the re-release and tickets for the shows and opened. Getting to the USA gross collections for the re-release, it is around $12K that marks a good opening for a mass re-release film. This will pick up as the shows are set to be screened on 20 May. On the other hand, in
Hyderabad city, the gross collections for the special shows are said to be just around Rs 27 lakh but is expected to increase by the release day.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Jr NTR is busy with the much-anticipated film NTR30 which stars Jahnvi Kapoor’s Tollywood debut. The film has been directed by Koratala Siva and is slated to hit the screens on April 5, next year. NTR30 stars Saif Ali Khan in baddie role.
