After Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ commercial success, Rashmika Mandanna gained widespread recognition for her performance as Srivalli, Pushpa Raj’s love interest in the movie.
As the film went on floors, there were rumours suggesting that Sai Pallavi would replace Rashmika Mandanna in the second instalment. However, now the latter gave an update on her upcoming movies. Rashmika Mandanna kickstarted 2023 with two big projects. Her film with Thalapathy Vijay titled Varisu is already performing well at the box office. Her next movie, Mission Majnu with Sidharth Malhotra, is set to release on January 20, 2023.
Meanwhile, she revealed an interesting update on Pushpa 2. “I am going to shoot next month, and I think they are already shooting for it. I am very excited to know what the second part has in store,” Rashmika said in an interview.
Rashmika was also last seen in Goodbye, where she co-starred alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta. The film received critical acclaim but failed to perform well at the box office.
