Rashmika Mandanna expressed her happiness, revealing that she was relieved she wasn’t the only one braving the cold of Manali in a saree during a song sequence in Animal; Ranbir Kapoor was also dressed casually.
The national crush achieved significant success with the recent action film Animal and has cemented her position as a sought-after actress in Hindi cinema. In a recent interview, she discussed her experience shooting in the snow-covered landscapes of Manali for the film, in which she co-starred with Ranbir Kapoor. Despite the freezing temperatures, the couple demonstrated resilience by wearing a saree and a kurta for their on-screen marriage sequence.
Rashmika Mandanna told We Are Yuvaa that she took comfort in the fact that she and Ranbir were not adequately dressed for Manali’s cold. She stated, “Sir (Sandeep Reddy Vanga) wanted it in such a way that these two children have run away from home and are getting married in the most unusual location. Inside, I was relieved that I was not the only one who suffered while wearing a saree; you, too, suffered.”
The actress also discussed the difficulties encountered during the snow-covered film shoot. She explained that initial exposure to snow causes the skin to appear pale. To counteract this, the makeup artist must apply additional makeup to restore a vibrant complexion. Transitioning from a prepared indoor environment to the cold outdoors creates a stark contrast, causing a moment of realization when the effects of the cold on blood flow to the face become clear.
