It’s been over a decade almost since Ram Pothineni starrer Ready hit the screens and catapulted his career in Tollywood to new heights. Starring Genelia D’Souza as the female lead, the film was released in 2008 and completed 115 years of its release. Ram’s energetic stellar performance in the film did not just win him the Filmfare best actor award, but the film also was chosen for the Nandi Award for Best popular feature film providing wholesome entertainment.
The latest news is that Ready film directed by Srinu Vaitla, is being re-released in theaters again on May 14, 2023, a day before the birthday of RAPO. This is the first movie of Ram to get a re-release in cinemas. His fans can enjoy the movie in the 4K version.
This Sreenu Vaitla-directed film also featured Brahmanandam, Nassar, Chandra Mohan, Tanikella Bharani, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Master Bharat, Sunil, Pragathi, Sudha, Srinivasa Reddy and among others. The film is considered one of Tollywood’s best romantic entertainers as well as one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of the year.
On the professional front, Ram will be next seen in the film directed by Sreenu Vaitla.
