Ranbir’s piece of mind about unhappy relationships – Find out

This chocolate boy from Saawariya, born in 1982, has done a lot of Bollywood romantic movies and came forward to give the audience a piece of his mind about unhappy relationships. In his most recent Bollywood Hindi movie, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar with his co-actor Shraddha Kapoor, Mickey was into a side business where he helped couples break up. Underneath the umbrella term ‘romance’, Ranbir has taken up intriguing topics for his movies. On one hand, he has played roles where the guy is head over heels in love, while on the other side, he’s also seen cast as guys who are interested in casual flings.

Keeping in mind these polar opposites, we are aware of his personal life affairs with Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, finally tying the knot with Alia Bhatt. But, what does this Indian cinema actor have to say about unhappy relationships?

In a Netflix interview with the famous comedian Aishwarya Mohanraj, Ranbir was asked if he’s ever been a Mickey in his real life, to which he admitted that he has advised his school friends against their relationships in case they had outgrown their partner or were in love with somebody else. He quotes, “I have not devised a plan.” He also makes a fair comparison and says that what Mickey has done in the film is parallel to real-life situations.

Before this, he appeared in Kareena Kapoor Khan’s chat show where he was asked if he’s been a ‘makkaar’ in his previous relationships, to which he openly agreed. He said he’s screwed up in the past but “as you get older you realize the more honest and open you are with your partner, the relationship becomes deeper and more meaningful.”

In this journey of going from immature youngsters to grown adults, Ranbir teaches us how our priorities towards love change over time.
