The chocolate boy of B-Town started his journey into acting with his movie Saawariya in 2007 and instantly, he became popular. He’s the son of the veteran late actor Rishi Kapoor, and yet, he had to fight to deep-root his place into the soil of Bollywood. After being weighed down by the tag of nepotism, he shed blood, sweat and tears to rise up from the dust. He had a tormented childhood and adulthood because of his family problem coupled with his loneliness and depression. In his own words, “I was getting beaten up, abused, doing everything from cleaning the floor to fixing the lights from 7 am to 4 pm, but I was learning every day.”
His fruits reaped sweet when his next movie Bachna Ae Haseeno became a blockbuster.
