Rajinikanth returns to Chennai

As “Jailer” continues to make box office records, Rajinikanth is embarking on a spiritual journey to the Himalayas and is presently in Ranchi. The actor visited Rajarappa temple and later had a meeting with Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan. Now, as he returns to Chennai, the superstar has shared his thoughts with the media.

The actor spoke with the media while returning to Chennai after his visit to Jharkhand. He expressed, “I had a wonderful experience. Excellent. I was at YSS (Yogoda Satsanga Society), and then I visited Chinnamasta temple. I had planned to visit Chinnamasta for many years, and this time I finally made it. I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is my third visit to Jharkhand, and I plan to come here every year.”

Rajinikanth paid a visit to the renowned Rajrappa temple, a prominent shakti peeth, on August 17th. He sought blessings from the divine Devi, Chinnamasta, and kindly posed for selfies with fans who surrounded him at the temple. Afterwards, he had a personal meeting with Jharkhand Governor Radhakrishnan. Rajinikanth received a warm welcome from Radhakrishnan in Ranchi and conveyed his delight in meeting him.

Rajinikanth follows a tradition of undertaking spiritual journeys to the tranquil Himalayas after completing each of his films. After a considerable hiatus due to health issues and the pandemic, the actor has once again resumed his spiritual voyage.

In the meantime, Rajinikanth has marked a significant return with the blockbuster theatrical release of “Jailer” after a two-year gap. Following the release of “Beast,” there were doubts about Nelson’s success, but he, along with Rajinikanth and Anirudh Ravichander, proved his critics wrong with “Jailer.” The movie is also approaching the prestigious Rs 100 crore mark at the box office.
