Chandramukhi 2 was a uphill ride which unexpectedly fell down the cliff just a few days before its original release date. Right before 15th September arrived, the team informed the internet that they’re going to need longer to perfect the post-production technical work, since remaking Chandramukhi 2 is no joke. Firstly, because it’s a remake of Rajinikanth’s legendary movie. Secondly, they’re portraying a psychological disorder (dissociative personality disorder) in a cinematic sense, and since mental health is an utterly sensitive topic in today’s era, minute details about the character’s behaviour and the clinical symptoms have to be taken into consideration.
