Priyadarshi Ain’t First Choice For Balagam

It is quite common in the film industry that scripts change hands and move from one actor’s lap to another actor’s lap. There are many reasons for this change in the film industry. But the news is being heard that such a similar incident took place in the case of finding the lead actor for the recent unexpected blockbuster Balagam.

Priyadarshi has earned a unique talent in the industry by doing his own comedy as well as serious roles. He debuted as a lead actor with the movie Mallesham and also starred in a few web series. The actor starred in the film Balagam and child artist turned heroine Kavya Kalyanram acted as the female lead role while Sudhakar Reddy and Muralidhar Goud acted in other roles. Directed by Venu Eldandi, this movie falters a bit at first but then stands firm.

It is said that the young hero Sree Vishnu was first considered for the lead role in this film. But it is heard that he said no because he could not pronounce the Telangana accent perfectly. It seems after that Priyadarshi was approached. If Sree Vishnu had done it, the commercial market would also have been added and would have been more beneficial for the film.

Even though Priyadarshi aint got any commercial following his acting perfectly suited the character requirements and he played the role with ease. Balagam made a successful run in theatres by running successfully for more than 50 days and even bagged a few international awards.
