Amazon Prime Video has released its slate of films and series every year and there are a bunch of originals in Indian popular languages that the OTT giant has confirmed. Super Deluxe- director Thiagarajan Kumararaja is bankrolling the Tamil original of the hit Modern Lover series.
Modern Love- Chennai, the anthology, according to the makers, will “explores six diverse yet universal stories of different facets, shades and moods of love, all set in the city’s unique milieus.” with Thiyagarajan’s banner Tyler Durben and Kino Fist producing the series, Bharathi Raja, Balaji Sakthivel, Raju Murugan, Krishnakumar Ramakumar, Akshay Sunder have been announced as the directors who will be helming the episodes in the series.
The trailer looks promising, refreshing and filled with feel-good emotions, let’s hope the complete series leaves the same impact on the audience.
While Balaji Tharaneetharan, Rajumurugan, Reshma Ghatala, Pratheep Kumar and Thiyagarajan Kumararaja are on board as the writers, the cast includes Kishore, Ramya Nambeesan, Ashok Selvan, Ritu Varma, Vijayalakshmi, TJ Banu, Gouri Reddy, Samyuktha Viswanathan, Vasudevan Murali, Chu Khoy Sheng, Sanjula S.
