In the era of the rise of female-centric roles, Pooja has mostly played characters where she is only given importance for being the protagonist’s love interest or for being someone’s daughter in the film. While her role in Mr.Majnu makes a difference the recent appearances didn’t click well.
Previously Pooja was in talks, for playing the lead role for Ustaad Bhagat Singh, a Tamil film, Theri’s remake which is currently being directed by Harish Shankar. Pooja Hegde is reported to have been reconsidering her projects, the buzz suggests she has a lot of projects piled up but she is not down with most of them considering how her projects are being received so far.
In a recent post, Pooja expresses how grateful she is for the wishes, “Thank you for all the birthday love and wishes. Will respond to all ur messages soon..for now, be right back.. wheeeeee 🙃🚲”, captions her post as she poses riding a bicycle. Sampath Nadi’s directorial is reported to roll soon and Pooja Hegde and Sai Dharam Tej are reported to have been chosen as the leads.
