Bollywood star Sunny Deol’s comments about India and Pakistan are going viral now. In an interaction, the actor said, “Citizens across Pakistan and India want only peace and love for each other, but it is the political parties that are in between the two countries that gave birth to hatred.”
The actor speaking at the trailer launch of his upcoming film, Gadar 2 made these comments. In the Gadar 2 film, he portrays the character of a man going to Pakistan in the middle of a ‘Crush India movement’ to bring back his son to his country.
The film is directed by Anil Sharma and the movie’s trailer released recently caught everyone’s attention. Meanwhile, expressing his views, Sunny Deol said, “It is all about humanity. There should not be any fights. There is equal love on both sides. But It is the political game that gave birth to hatred. You will see the same in this film as well. People generally never want us to fight with each other, as after all we are from the same land.”
Getting back to the film, Gardar 2 is a sequel to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha released in 2001, that stars Sunny Deol in Tara Singh’s role as a man who falls in love with Sakina (Amisha Patel), a Pakistani Muslim girl. Also in Gardar 2, Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel reprise their roles in the movie.
