Oppenheimer dominates 2024 Oscars: Check the complete winner list

Oscars 2024

After a very long and busy awards season, we have officially made it to the end. Every year, the Oscars take a moment to honor, celebrate, and acknowledge the work and art of the many artists we lose. The 96th Academy Awards were held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles and were once again hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

“Oppenheimer” had the most wins of the night, taking home the best picture, actor, supporting actor, and director. The film received seven awards during the night: Christopher Nolan won Best Director, Cillian Murphy won Best Actor, and Robert Downey Jr. won Best Supporting Actor. The film also won awards for best cinematography, best original score and best film editing.

Poor Things had the second-highest wins, with four total, including Best Actress for Emma Stone. Poor Things also snapped up three crafts wins for best costume design, production design, makeup, and hairstyling. Emma Stone beat the front-running contender before Killers of the Flower Moon’s history-making nominee, Lily Gladstone, overtook her in the race after winning the SAG Award for Best Actress in February.
