Almost the same as Sankranthi season, the date December 9th has become quite a sought-after date by many Telugu films. More than half a dozen films got released this week, but none of them are getting good responses.
Satya Dev’s Gurthunda Seethakalam, Colors Swathi’s Panchatantram, and Color Photo fame director Sandeep’s Mukhachitram bagged average talk, but are not holding good at ticket counters. Apart from these films, some not-so-popular movies like Leharayi, Aakrosham, Cheppalani Vundi, haven’t even got noticed by the people.
Meanwhile, Hit 2 released on December 2nd is still registering good occupancies in its second weekend and is maintaining its momentum nicely. The latest news is that this film also achieved breakeven in all areas. With this, the film has surprised everyone by dominating all the new releases at the box office yesterday.
Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film has Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead. Prashanti Tipirneni produced this crime thriller, and it is presented by Natural star Nani.
