Actor Vijay is all set with his film Varisu for Sankranti. Meanwhile director Lokesh Kanagaraj became one of the most sought directors after Kaithi and Vikram.
Now, an interesting buzz is that Vijay began shooting for his next yet-untitled Tamil project even as he awaits the release of his forthcoming film Varisu in less than two weeks. Following this, Mahesh Babu’s fans took to social media to react to Vijay’s commitment towards his projects and wished their star also quickly begins work on his next film. Some even said they wish he doesn’t spend much time on holidays.
Tentatively titled Thalapathy 67, the film is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj who also directed Vijay’s Master. This film is also said to be part of director Lokesh’s cinematic universe that connects the filmmaker’s previous movies – Kaithi (2019) and Vikram (2022).
Thalapathy 67 is a production venture of 7 Screen Studio. Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu will hit the theaters on January 12. The film will clash at the box office with Ajith Kumar’s Varisu in the big Pongal clash.
