Starring the versatile actor Nikhil Siddharth in lead role, Karthikeya 2 is a sequel for the blockbuster film Karthikeya. Touted to be a seat-edge thriller, this film is expected to release on July 22nd,2022.
But changing this release date, it is heard that makers have postponed the movie’s release to next month. Though the makers haven’t announced this news officially yet, the hero Nikhil himself confirmed that the movie is going to get release on August month
Going in to the news, fan of Nikhil shared the ticket advance bookings status of the film in the UK and wrote, “#KarthiKeya2 UK. Leicester almost sold out in 25Mins. Tickets opened in @ODEONCinemas. Grab them now,”.
Answering this, Nikhil took to his Twitter and said, “But sorry.. the movie is not releasing on July 22nd.. but in August 1st week. Apologies to the Amazing ppl who booked tickets for the premiere show.. will get it refunded.”
With such a Tweet from Nikhil, it is official that the movie is postponed to next month.
Helmed by Chandoo Mondeti, the movie has Anupama Parameswaran in the lead actress role.
