Mega Star Chranjeevi’s upcoming film is Bhola Shankar which is directed by Meher Ramesh. The film stars Tamannah and Keerthy Suresh. The movie is the remake of the Tamil film ‘Vedhalam’ which stars Ajith Kumar and Shruti Haasan. The film was a hit and got good collections at the box office. Keerthy is playing the role of Chiranjeevi’s sister, whereas Tamannah is playing the lover of Chiru.
Chiranjeevi’s last movie ‘Waltair Veerayya’ was a hit and it collected a good amount. His other films were ‘God Father’ which got a decent hit and ‘Acharya’ which was a flop. None of his recent movies got blockbuster hits. Chiru needs a hit to still be in the race. Director Meher is famous for his films like Billa, Shakti and Kantri. So, the Audience has good expectations of this film.
The latest news about this film is that thirty days of a film shoot is still pending and there will be no special song in the movie. The movie is scheduled to release on 11 August 2023.
