Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Godfather is to release on the 5th of October. As the movie is gearing up for this through aggressive promotions, new things about the movie are popping up. It is already known that Salman Khan is playing a key role in the film. Chiru revealed in a recent interview that Sallu Bhai didn’t take a penny for acting in the flick. In fact, Sallu almost scolded him when he asked the B-Town star about the pay.
“When we offered the remuneration to Salman, he almost scolded us in anger. He told us that it’s he is not doing the film not for money but only for our friendship. Also told us that we can’t value his love for Charan and me. That was a very sweet gesture from a man of his stature. He didn’t take a single rupee to act in the film. My respect has increased manyfold after this. Ram Charan might force Salman to take remuneration at least after the release. I don’t know. We have to see” said Chiru. Well, it’s common for stars to appear in cameos in the movies of other stars whereas, in Lucifer, Sallu’s role is not a cameo. It’s almost a disciple role for the protagonist Brahma. It is very interesting why Sallu accepted the role and even more surprising is why he didn’t take any remuneration for the role which might be seen for more than 15 minutes in the film.
