Yami Gautam will be seen in the soon-to-release’ Article 370 ‘. With the trailer of the film getting a roaring response from the masses, the actress previously known for delivering memorable performances in movies like Vicky Donor and Kaabil conducted an AMA session where she called her role in Aditya Dhar’s directorial ‘most challenging’.
Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar discussed the possibility of premiering their upcoming film Article 370 in Kashmir. Aditya shared, “Definitely, there was a discussion, but knowing where we are with the baby, we had to reduce travel. That’s why we are also doing this interview via Zoom. Because of that, we had to decide to keep it local only mostly so that it’s easier on Yami; otherwise, we would love to do that for sure”.
Yami added, “You’re spot on. That was one of the important discussions, but as someone has said, life is a box of chocolates. You never know which one you’re going to get. So we go with the flow, and we improvise.”
At the film’s trailer launch, Aditya Dhar also addressed questions about the film being ‘propaganda-driven’ and said that the current ruling government doesn’t need a ‘small film’ like Article 370 to get votes in the upcoming elections.
