No good movies this week!

When no big movies were released, trade experts thought that at least one small film would benefit from this opportunity, as nine movies were released on the 24th of this month. But surprisingly, not a single movie fared well at the box office. They all failed miserably. The main drawback of all these films is a routine story plot and predictive screenplay. Some movies don’t even have a proper screenplay. For example, the Akash Puri’s Chor Bazaar is lambasted by all the reviewers for its pale script and poor actors’ use on-screen.

If we see the list of movies released, Kiran Abbavaram’s Sammathame, Akash Puri’s Chor Bazaar, Ram Gopal Varma’s Konda, Veteran producer MS Raju’s 7 Days-6 Nights, Gangster Gangaraju, Karan Arjun, Pellikuthuru Party, Sada Nannu Nadipe, and Software Blues have all released on the same day. All these small flicks failed to impress the audience. Sammathame was said to be at least below average among all these, while the remaining are almost utter flops. Ace producer MS Raju’s 7Days-6Nights, too, is said to be a nothing movie and will be forgotten like other flop movies, slams the reviewers.

Audiences these days are exposed to much international content and have become very knowledgeable. Making a routine love story, revenge drama, or mass movie will never matter to them. Pulling masses to theatres has become a headache even for the stars and big movies. Hence, the small directors and producers need to think out of the box if they intend to make the audience travel to theatres.
