With her songwriting, rapping, and singing, she’s become an influential figure who has inspired several artists to become big. Anaconda, the song that made Nicki famous in India, escalated to the 2nd highest on Billboard Hot 100 at the time. Outside of music, she is the voice behind ‘Pinky’ in The Angry Birds Movie 2 which grossed $350 million worldwide.
If the Billboard doesn’t lie, so don’t the judges sitting in a courtroom. Highs and lows are a part of life and Minaj is currently going through one. Reportedly, she’s entwined in a legal issue with a West Hollywood jeweler. He has petitioned against Nicki for unpaid bills and damaged custom jewelry. After a thorough review of the case, the Anaconda rapper’s legal advisor has come to a firm conclusion that all of the accusations are untrue and are just being pushed onto the celebrity to pocket some extra cash and public attention.
It’s noteworthy that there was no direct involvement by Nicki with the jeweler. Her stylist, Brett Alan Nelson, as per the agreement, was supposed to return the lent jewelry back within a week, 66 pieces of which, he returned late with visible damages on a few, claims Roseark jewelry store.
Nicki along with her attorney Jordan Siev is adamantly denying all allegations, labeling it just a publicity stunt. The investigation results of the same will be out in the open soon and everyone who’s keen to find out will be answered soon.
