Netizens angry about Om Raut’s dialogue with Lord Hanuman

Right from the first show of Adipurush, trolling has started on social media about the film. Especially regarding the looks of the main characters, strong opposition was seen on social media. Along with the looks of Ravana’s character, the manner in which the character was portrayed has led to a great debate. Also, the visual effects have been criticized.

All this together, a dialogue of Hanuman led to controversy. Political parties are also criticizing it. Maharashtra’s Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi expressed strong objection to one of the Hanuman’s dialogues.

In ‘Adipurush’, when Hanuman came to see Seetamma in Lanka, Ravana’s son Indrajeet set fire to Hanuman’s tail and says, “Is it burning?” Hanuman replies, “The cloth is your dad’s, and The oil is your dad’s. So burning is also for him”.

There may not be any wrong with this. But in a movie based on ‘Ramayana’, objections are raised as to how Hanuman’s character can speak a low level of language. People on social media are already raving about this. In addition to this, now politicians are also objecting to this dialogue, which has led to controversy. And let’s see how director Om Raut and Co will react to this.
