Bollywood is bringing back many veteran actresses with bang-on scripts to work along. As secrets and lies surface, the story turns the spotlight on an array of suspects, portrayed by an exceptional cast.
Sara Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Sanjay Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Suhail Nayyar, and Karisma Kapoor deftly hide the true intentions of their roles. Playing a non-traditional officer, Pankaj Tripathi leads the charge. As an outsider, he enters their world and discovers more going on than he first thought.
Bringing a fresh twist to the mystery genre with a blend of suspense, comedy, and romance, the entertaining Murder Mubarak debuts onscreen on Netflix on March 15. Maddock Films produced, and Homi Adajania directed the upcoming Netflix film, an adaptation of Club You to Death by Anuja Chauhan.
Murder Mubarak combines the finest elements of comedy and tension uniquely, according to Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh, director of original films for Netflix India. Gazal Dhaliwal and Suprotim Sengupta wrote the screenplay and the dialogue. The other people involved in making it are Poonam Shivdasani and Sharada Karki Jalota, as co-producers.
