Thalapathy Vijay redefined his star power in Tollywood also with his past releases Beast and Master. Now, everyone is waiting for his next biggie titled ‘Varisu’. The film was released in Tamil yesterday and received positive reviews.
Also starring Rashmika Mandannain the lead role, the film has been helmed by Vamsi Paidipally and clashed at the box-office with Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu. Bankrolled by Dil Raju, the Hindi and Telugu versions of Varisu, will have a theatrical release on January 13th and 14th respectively.
While Thalapathy Vijay is one of the most popular stars in the country, the actor has now emerged as one of the highest-paid actors in India. The trusted reports state that Vijay charged a whopping Rs 150 crore as his remuneration for Varisu from Dil Raju. If the news is to be believed, with this Vijay emerges as the highest-paid actor in India suppressing other stars in Bollywood and South cinema.
