Ar Murugadoss helmed, Salman Khan thrilled his fans by announcing his next film, Sikandar, on Eid. He’s teaming up with director AR Murugadoss and filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala for this project. Now, it has been learnt that Salman will begin filming in May and AR Murugadoss might possibly juggle two films.

The shooting for Sikandar is set to begin in May 2024.AR Murugadoss, the director, is currently busy shooting another Tamil film titled SK23 with actor Sivakarthikeyan.
The shoot for SK23 will continue until June, so Murugadoss will split his time between the Hindi and Tamil films for the next two months. Before starting Sikandar, Murugadoss aims to wrap up most of the shooting for SK23.
He plans to shoot the first schedule of Sikandar in May and then return to finish Sivakarthikeyan’s movie in June.
Starting from July, he will focus entirely on directing the Salman Khan-starrer. Murugadoss teased that Sikandar would feature high-octane action sequences, emotions, and a powerful social message.
He added, “Salman and I had discussed this project five years ago, but due to circumstances, we couldn’t proceed at that time. Recently, he asked for another narration. After that, he said that the script gave him a good vibe and asked if we could start working on it immediately.”
AR Murugadoss Film With SK
He revealed that it would be a pan-India film and hinted at showcasing a new side of Salman Khan. Murugadoss and Salman had discussed the project five years ago, but it didn’t materialize then. Recently, Salman asked for another narration, and after liking the script, he expressed eagerness to start working on it immediately.
AR Murugadoss helmed Sk23 starring Siva Karthikeyan in the main lead is almost wrapped up. The film will soon finish its production works moving to post-production works. Sk23 is likely to release by the end of the year while Salman Khan’s Sikander recently welcomed music director Pritam Chakroborty to their team will release for Eid 2025.
