Mrunal Thakur says casting in Bollywood is done based on social media following. In a recent interview, she revealed that it ‘breaks her heart’ when actors are cast based on their social media following.
Sita Ramam actress also spoke about the current trend of casting actors based on their social media following. She said, “It really breaks my heart because it means losing out on roles I’ve always wished for. But at times, I think it is what it is, and perhaps I’m destined for more better characters.” The talented actress won the SIIMA Best Actress award for her stellar performance in Sita Ramam.
Mrunal Thakur starrer Aankh Micholi is all set to hit the theaters on October 27 th 2023.The film is directed by Umesh Shula and produced by produced by Ashish Wagh and Umesh Shukla under the banner of Merry Go Round Studios and Culver Max Entertainment and will also star in the Telugu film Hi Nanna alongside Nani.
