Undoubtedly one of Bollywood’s most adored couples is Kajol and Ajay Devgn. Over 24 years have passed since the pair were married. Even though they were both in separate relationships at the time, She recently discussed how her romance with Ajay started in an interview. The Dilwale actress also shared her thoughts on the essential elements of a good marriage.
Kajol recalled how she and Ajay met for the first time on a film set during a conversation with Humans of Bombay. “I was going out with somebody, I think he was going out with somebody at that point in time. And we did a film together and we kind of became friends from there.”She further added, “We just started talking, became friends, then eventually I broke up, he broke up, and then we became a little more than friends.”
When asked how she knew Ajay was her soulmate, Kajol laughed and replied, “I’m not entirely sure if he’s the one. I believe he would say the same thing.” Kajol emphasised the need to always make an effort to preserve a happy marriage. She said it was important to work on the connection every day, and married people can witness that. She continued, “It’s got to do with wanting to work on it every day and I think that is something that any married couple will tell you that it is work, it is a hell of a lot of work, it is not easy.”
