Barroz
Mohanlal is widely regarded as one of Malayalam cinema‘s best actors. The seasoned actor has been a part of the film industry for over four decades and continues to excite audiences with his work. However, in March 2024, fans will have the opportunity to view the Dhrushyam actor in a completely new avatar. He will wear the director’s hat for his directorial debut, Barroz.
Finally, five years after its initial announcement, Mohanlal’s highly anticipated directorial debut, Barroz, is due to debut in theaters on March 28th, this year. In the most recent update, the actor took to social media to share an image from the Sony Studios in Hollywood, where the audio fine-tuning of the film. He wrote, “Watching Barroz at Sony Studios Hollywood with Mark Kilian and Jonathan Miller for the fine-tuning of music and sound.”
Barroz is a 3D fantasy film written by Jiju Ponnoose, who also wrote the novel from which it was adapted. In addition to directing the film, Mohanlal plays the eponymous character. In addition, notable actors such as Guru Somasundaram, Komal Sharma, Cesar Lorente, Ignacio Mateos, and others have important roles in the film.
