Bhola Shakar vs Jailer vs OMG 2 vs Gadar 2 Box office collections. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shakar collected 20 crores on its first day, while Rajinikanth’s film Jailer collected over 75 crores.
While Bollywood film Gadar 2 storms theatres with Rs 40 crore, OMG 2 earned Rs 9.5 crore, and Bhola Shakar collected 20 crore on its debut day. All three films combined couldn’t beat Jailer’s two-day collections. Jailer earned Rs 48 crore on its first day. This underscores that Jailer is poised to witness an impressive opening weekend.
Jailer continues to rampage poised and is expected to collect RS 30 crore and surpass the Rs 100 crore mark today. Jailer has also entered the $ 2 million club in the US Box office.
Bhola Shakar, the Tamil remake of Vedhalam with a budget of 101 crores, underperformed other movies when compared to its budget. Chiru’s film is unable to grab the attention of the audience. The lack of general interest as it is a remake of a Tamil film and Meher Ramesh’s weak filmography contributed to its lack of hype.
Compared to budget and box office collections, Gadar 2 did a better job than other films. OMG 2 underperformed on its first day; it bearly collected Rs 9.5 crore with an estimated budget of 150 crores, and it is also the highest-budget film of the weekend, but surprisingly, it underperformed more than all other films.
