There used to be a severe rivalry between the Mega fans and Nandamuri fans once upon a time when both Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna were in their prime. Most often than not, both the stars used to release their movies at the same time. After Chiranjeevi’s political entry, the rivalry slowly dried off. Now, after a long gap, both the stars are racing against each other for this year’s Dasara. While NBK will be out with his NBK 107 with Gopichand Malineni, Chiru is entering the rance with God Father. It’s interesting to note that both the stars are wearing a salt and pepper rugged look for their respective movies.
Already the recently released teaser of NBK’s 107 has received good applause. Rumoured as the remake of the Kannada film Mufti, Balayya is playing double roles in the flick as is the case with all his recent movies. Nandamuri fans are all excited that their favourite actor will again score a blockbuster with this after Akhanda’s sensational success. Shruti Hassan was cast alongside Balayya. On the other hand, Megastar is coming with the official remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer as GodFather. His recent first-look teaser is trending on social media. Nayantara, Satyadev will be seen in key role in this Mohan Raja direcorial. Will the rekindled rivalry of the old horses will workout for Dasara like it was one and a half decades ago?
