After The Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3 release, there are many upcoming Marvel movies heading to the theatres and many upcoming marvel tv shows to stream on Disney + Hotstar. However, one of the most anticipated Marvel projects ”Blade” movie was delayed and shut down pre-production on the project due to the Ongoing Hollywood writer’s strike.
The marvel blade reboot has faced delays before. Previously, the Blade movie moved from a scheduled 2023 release to September 2024. This happened due to the previous director, Bassam Tarig, leaving the project a few months before the filming was supposed to start. They ran out of time before the strike to complete their work to start production on ”Blade”. Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are left with many questions.
A week before the current Writers Guild of America[ WGA] strike contract expired, ”True Detective” creator Nic Pizzolatto was set to rewrite the ”Blade” script. The Marvel Studios ”Blade” is the first movie to be affected by the WGA strike. The cast and crew were notified on Friday.
