Multiple award-winning filmmaker Mani Ratnam after bagging success with PS 1 is busy with promotions of his next PS 2. Now, after the stupendous success of the epic historical action drama Ponniyin Selvan: I and the release of II, ace Kollywood director Mani Ratnam is said to reunite with the biggest Tamil superstars Vijay and Ajith Kumar together in his next directorial venture.
According to a few Twitter handles, the movie will be written and directed by Mani Ratnam. The music for the movie will be done by Mani Ratnam’s frequent collaborator A. R. Rahman. Not much else is known about the forthcoming venture at the moment, but more details are expected to arrive soon.
Meanwhile, Mani Ratnam is gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated film Ponniyin Selvan 2. As the title suggests itself, the magnum opus is a sequel to his 2022 blockbuster Ponniyin Selvan. It stars Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayaram, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, R. Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Jayachitra, Rahman, and R. Parthiban, among others.
