Bazooka, starring veteran Malayali actor, Mammootty will begin shooting from today in Cochin. The movie is being directed by debutant Deeno Dennis and helmed by Theatre of Dreams and Saregama’s Yoodle Films.
The crew began the shoot with a Pooja ceremony in the presence of director Unnikrishnan B and Shaji Kailas. Tamil filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon and Shine Tom Chacko will be playing pivotal roles in the movie alongside Mammootty. The music for the film is produced by Midhun Mukundan and the technical crew includes Nimish Ravi and Nishad Yusuf.
Deeno is the son of veteran screenwriter Kaloor Dennis. Kaloor Dennis had penned the screenplays for Mammootty starrers like Koottinilamkili, Prathijnja, Aa Raathri, Alakadalinakkare, Idavelakku Sesham, Sandarbham, Malarum Kiliyum. Apart from directing, Deeno is also scripting Bazooka. The posters for the film were unveiled last month and created a buzz on the internet with Mammootty’s new look.
Mammootty was last in the Tollywood film Agent alongside Akhil Akkineni. The actor is also preparing for Roby Varghese Raj’s Kannur Squad and Jeo Baby’s Kaathal coming up.
