Malayalam film directors are under scanner after an intelligence report revealed an inflow of black money investment from overseas. According to the reports, one film actor and producer has been fined a huge amount of 25 crores.
The Income Tax Department and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) are currently investigating the Malayalam film Industry. The details about the directors are kept hidden as of now.
Reportedly ED will investigate the remaining film directors further. They will investigate to see if there is any inflow of black money in Kerala to back ‘propaganda’ that might have a negative effect on national security.
The central agencies are taking strict actions against such inflow by increasing the scrutiny by ED and Income Tax Department.
According to a Youtube channel Prithviraj Sukmaaran producer and actor has raised his voice against the allegations. He revealed that he has been falsely fined 25 crores of huge amount and requested media channels to report after checking if it is true or not.
