Famous Malayalam Actor Mamukkoya passed away today. It was said that he was undergoing treatment after suffering a heart attack during a football tournament. The actor breathed his last at 1:10 pm. He mostly appeared in comedic roles and is one of the most popular actors in Mollywood. He also appeared in the French film Flammens of Paradise.
The actor passed out while he attended the event as a special guest at Wandoor in Kerala’s Malappuram district. He was immediately rushed to the hospital. It was said that Mamukkoya was treated in a hospital in Wandoor and later shifted to a private hospital in Kozhikode.
Mamukkoya started his acting career as a theatre actor. He got his chance in the film industry through Anyarude Bhoomi (1979). Later on, he kept getting opportunities and till now he acted in over 450 films in his four-decade-long career. The news of his death shook the Mollywood industry and all the actors are paying tribute to this veteran actor.
