After the hugely positive response to the movie Goodachari, which was released in 2018, the makers of the film decided to make a sequel, giving it the title G2, i.e., Goodachari 2. Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi is directing G2. The film stars Adivi Sesh in the lead role and will be one of the most anticipated movies of 2024.
The filmmakers have added another name to the movie’s lead cast. They shared a post on Instagram to announce Banita Sandhu, who will play a lead role alongside Adivi Sesh. Banita Sandhu is known for her work in Indian films. Her debut Bollywood movie, October, alongside Varun Dhavan and Gitanjali Rao, was released in 2018. She also starred in a Tamil film, Adithya Varam.
The makers captioned the post, “Welcoming the talented Banita Sandhu on board for the G2 mission. Shoot begins soon.” The lead actor, Adivi Sesh, added, “I warmly welcome Banita to the G2 world. I look forward to an amazing collaboration.”
G2 will continue where Goodachari left off, and it is reportedly a spy thriller. The movie’s first poster, which was released this year, shows Adivi Sesh in a completely action-packed avatar, setting the audience’s expectations high.
