Ankita Lokahande, who is currently part of the television reality show Big Boss Season 17, is now trending on social media because of the conversation she had with her co-contestant, Munawar Faruqui, about her ex-boyfriend, the late actor Sushanth Singh Rajput.
Ankita Lokhande and the late Sushant Singh Rajput met on the sets of the popular TV show Pavitra Rishta. They were in a relationship for seven years before they broke up.
The conversation started when Ankita sang the song ‘Kaun Thuje’ from Sushanth’s movie MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, to which Munawar said, “I attended the special screening of that movie at Yash Raj Studios. It was the only time I met him.” Ankita replies, “Nice.” After a slight pause, the actress adds, “He was a good man. When I say ‘was,’ it feels strange. But it’s okay; it is normal now. Sushanth was also Vicky’s friend, and now he is not there. That is the worst feeling.”
Munawar then asks her if she knows exactly what and where it went wrong in their relationship, to which Ankita replies, “I don’t want to talk about it right now. I don’t want to tell you about that here.”
Munawar says that people have their own versions, but you are one of them who knows what exactly happened. Ankita responded, “But no one believed me, and that’s okay. This is my first experience of losing somebody like that; it is very shocking.”
She then explains why she didn’t attend Sushant’s funeral by saying, “I didn’t even go to the funeral. I couldn’t go. I thought I wouldn’t be able to see that. Vicky told me to go, but I refused. How will I see him? I never experienced anything such in my life.” The clip shows Ankita getting emotional after remembering the late actor.
Sushanth Singh Rajput passed away on June 14th, 2020, which shook up the entire nation.
