Mahesh Babu, who is currently busy shooting for his upcoming release Guntur Kaaram, graced the Animal pre-release event held last night in Hyderabad at Malla Reddy College. Interestingly, Animal directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga is the script that was initially narrated to the actor, but Mahesh Babu thought he couldn’t suit the role as the storyline was very violent.
Do you guys know that Mahesh Babu rejected Ye Maaya Chesave. The film was first narrated to the actor, but the story didn’t convince him. He also refused Ghajini due to date issues, which later changed the image of actor Suriya.
He was also approached with Three Idiots remake Nanban, but the actor refused to do the remakes as he thought they wouldn’t perform commercially. Mahesh Babu also refused to do Varsham for many unknown reasons, which was also a blockbuster at that time.
Pushpa: The Rise was first narrated to Mahesh Babu, but the actor felt the character was too crass and wouldn’t sit well with his image and fans, so he refused to do it, which gave Allu Arjun National Award. He will soon be working with SS Rajamouli after Guntur Kaaram is released.
