Zara Hatke of Laxman Utekar Tomorrow marks the release of Zara Bachke, starring Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal. The director explained how he came up with the concept for this romantic comedy in an exclusive interview with a source. “After Mimi, I was searching for a topic when one of my writers suggested this. I thought the story they came up with was good. A middle-class couple living together in a joint family was the subject of the story. And the story’s theme that “everyone in our country wants to have his or her own house, but faces so many obstacles in order to do so” struck a chord with the director.
“People feel that once they have a house, their kids could live there peacefully and they would have a happy life,” he continues. I liked that the movie is solely on it. Everyone desires their own home, but purchasing one is difficult. I found that idea to be interesting, so we built a script around it and began writing. As a result, it took the name Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.
Luka Chuppi, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, was Laxman Utekar’s first Hindi-language film, and ever since it was released, there have been rumours of a sequel. Is a sequel to Luka Chuppi planned? “At this time, no. There are no plans to produce Luka Chuppi 2. However, in the future, possibly after Chhava, why not considering how fascinating the topic is. Nothing has worked yet, but if something does, I would absolutely like to make Luka Chuppi 2.
